"Remember, upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all."

Remember Upon The Conduct Of Each
Remember, upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.
About this quote
This saying is attributed to Alexander the Great by the Roman historian Quintus Curtius Rufus in his Histories of Alexander the Great (1st century CE), written several centuries after Alexander's death. It reflects Alexander's practice of holding his officers collectively responsible for the discipline and morale of the whole army. His campaigns across Persia, Central Asia, and India, covering roughly 20,000 miles in about a decade, were sustained only by rigorous mutual accountability among commanders and troops alike.
