"Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."
— Mother Teresa
Spread Love Everywhere You Go Let
Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.
About this quote
This quote has a plausibly verified source. A longer version — "Spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your house... Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier" — is cited in John Templeton's Worldwide Laws of Life (1998, p. 448), and appears on Wikiquote under sourced Teresa quotations. The shorter circulating version omits the instruction to begin with one's own household and changes "better and happier" to "happier" alone. The condensed phrasing may have emerged from the same process of simplification that affects many of her widely-shared sayings.
