The World Is Yours

The concluding line of Scarface (1983), directed by Brian De Palma. "The World Is Yours" appears on a blimp advertisement Tony Montana (Al Pacino) sees throughout the film, becoming a symbol of his limitless ambition. The phrase is borrowed from the 1932 Howard Hawks film Scarface, itself adapted from Armitage Trail's 1930 novel — and it echoes ironically as Tony's world collapses around him.
